Daniel Smith retires from the company after having led a strong process of investment and job creation in local operations for 12 years, which allowed Toyota Argentina to reach leadership in 2021 for the first time in its history, both in production, sales and exports. Daniel also led the development of vehicles under the global brand GAZOO Racing and the launch of Toyota Mobility Services (today KINTO), the pioneer platform in mobility services in the region, among other achievements.
However, Herrero will continue to be linked to the Japanese brand as President of Toyota Plan and Coordinator of GAZOO Racing activities.
