The EBS electronic brake package includes Traction Control (TCS), Anti-lock Brakes (ABS), Hill Start Assist, emergency brake light and electronic parking brake with automatic activation/deactivation. The Stability Control (ESP) is also added.
In addition to the EBS and ESP systems, the trucks of the new F line come standard with an airbag for the driver, seat belt integrated into the driver’s seat, emergency exit on the roof, rear lights with sudden braking warning and the more resistant cabins, designed as a survival module.
Additionally, the road vehicles come standard with a 4-lung pneumatic suspension per axle and active safety systems that help minimize risks: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning and the Advanced Emergency Braking System.
On the other hand, Volvo offers new safety packages across the range.
