Rosario: they chain the cars to the trees and remove the wheels and batteries to prevent them from being stolen

In television statements, Pablo, a resident of the area who is a freight forwarder during the week and on Sundays sells popcorn from a cart, said that on May 25 at dawn a Ford F-100 truck was stolen from him, with which he worked and that was parked in front of his house.

“These guys ruined me, I am a breadwinner. I offer a reward for whoever has information about the truck,” he said in statements to the local channel El Tres.

Meanwhile, the owner of a mechanical workshop that usually leaves vehicles on the street, had to adopt the same measure and in statements to the local press said: “I am not calm, we get up at dawn with my wife and look out of the window if there are cars”.

And Horacio, another neighbor, said that he decided to start taking a wheel off the car after the battery was stolen: “I have no choice but to come and do it. I also take out the battery, that theft is more normal.”
