Among the procedures achieved by the measure is the request for the domain report, the Police Verification of the Automotive, the transfer of domain and the obtaining and renewal of the Green Card
With this measure, the Dnrpa will seek to “expand the electronic means of payment, in order to facilitate the operation for the petitioners of the procedures,” according to the recitals of the provision.
In the same way, the expansion of the means of payment occurs within the framework of a “considerable increase in the mass of money that is received daily” in the registry offices.
To the possibility of payment through debit cards, “homebanking”, ATMs and the “Pago Mis Cuentas” system of the Banelco network, new electronic means of payment will be added, including immediate transfers 3.0, direct debits, debits debit , interoperable QR and the use of electronic wallets, among others.
The measure is intended to “optimize the service, provide greater security and streamline transactions” of registration procedures.
The new tools will cover both the petitions that can be concluded entirely virtually – without the need to personally attend the Sectional Registry offices -, as well as those that are formalized with the presence of the petitioner.
“The adoption of this measure will result in greater security for those who pay and those who receive tariffs through the payment methods described, as it will mean a reduction in the risks inherent in the transfer of money in cash, to and from the different registry offices”, regulations stand out.
The provision did not set a date for the implementation of the new payment methods since, prior to that, the Dnrpa must “homologate and integrate the computer systems used by the means of payment hubs or platforms that require it with the Integrated System of Electronic Procedures (SITE) and with the other systems that are part of the agency’s operations”.
Various public bodies recently incorporated new payment methods for procedures.
This week the Government of the City of Buenos Aires added the possibility of paying non-tax procedures with a QR code through self-service terminals located in government headquarters, including the voluntary payment of infractions, cemetery procedures, driver’s licenses and request for items. of the Civil Registry.
