“I bought a square meter of vinyl, I uploaded it to Facebook and it worked. It was a rage, everyone brought me to plot cell phone covers,” he recalls about that first stage. Then came the request to customize a motorcycle; and then another; and then a car. So he was adding clients until his grandfather’s house was too small for him.
He moved to the local on the corner, where his grandfather had a store. A year and a half later, word of mouth made it all the rage. “Everyone said ‘take it to Kaskote,'” he says.
But that was not all. “Later a boy offered me a place, which seemed very big to me, but he insisted and let me stay for three months free of rent. There I began to run into other people, another public, other types of vehicles,” says Kaskote, who also worked for music stars like Nicky Jam and Anuel AA, among others. It was 4 years ago, when he went to work in Miami for a season, which gave him even more publicity when he returned to Argentina.
The story of the shed with new cars abandoned for 30 years
Kaskote had already been in the news in mid-2020, but an episode that sounds unusual. In Avellaneda, dozens of 0 km cars abandoned for 30 years that belonged to a dealership that had disappeared at that time appeared in a shed. The young man arrived there because he was looking to buy a Fiat Uno and ended up buying everything in the place.

There were several units of Fiat Uno 70 S, Fiat Tipo, Duna, Ducato and even a Fiat Tempra, the sedan variant of the Type that was presented in 1990, so it was surely one of the first units of that model in Argentina. There were also several units of Alfa Romeo 33 Pininfarina, Alfa Romeo 133 and Peugeot 405.
The dealership had fallen into disgrace after the owner family suffered the tragic death of one of the owner’s sons in an assault, who also died a short time later. Then the company went under. The heir to all the estates just wanted to liquidate the assets, so he got rid of the unusual collection that ended up in Kaskote’s workshop.
From entrepreneur to entrepreneur
Kaskote has always relied on his drive to achieve his goals, which is why his message is to encourage others to do the same. “The years went by and I can say that I made it. I was able to buy my house, my own fifth house that I am building, I have my motorcycle, my car, I have a beautiful family,” he says.
Even in the hardest part of the pandemic, when due to isolation he had to close the workshop, he did not sit idly by. Without the opportunity to work with the vehicles, he went out to sell masks and gel alcohol.
“What I like to show is that you never have to lower your arms and that if you want you can. Entrepreneur like me, nobody. I can assure you,” he says. And he says: “Nothing falls from the sky, work is not going to knock on your door, you have to go look for opportunities.”
