To shelter the model, the Porto Real plant implemented a second shift. Manufactured under the CMP platform, it combines hatch and SUV design features, such as the raised belt line, the plastic protections or the horizontal hood. The front has a bumper whose central part will always be black.
Below the headlights are the fog lights. It includes longitudinal roof bars and can receive the Airbump, placed in the lower part of the doors. A central aesthetic feature is the possibility of two-tone bodywork.
It adds the 10” Citroën Connect Touchscreen multimedia center and one of the largest trunk capacity among the competitors in the segment, of 315 litres. With a length of 3.98 meters and a wheelbase of 2.54 meters, the passenger compartment of the new C3 benefits from being 1.60 meters high and 1.73 meters wide.
Standard features include electric steering, air conditioning, dual airbags, stability and traction control with hill start assist, gear shift indicator, daytime running lights (DRL), front electric windows, central locking and a digital panel with on-board computer.
In a first contact by Barra da Tijuca, the C3 was shown as an agile model, with a relaxed interior. An important point is the suspensions, which give it a good ride in the city and ride comfort. In addition to good interior space, the elevated driving position points to city and everyday use.
The prices will be informed at the time of launch, in the last quarter of the year.
