Will the electric car solve all of our problems? How must cities change on the way to sustainable mobility? And what do the people in the country do? Discuss the next one stern-Talk with the editors and other readers.
The estimates are anything but rosy: According to the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan, truck traffic in Germany is likely to increase by almost a third by 2030. But climate-friendly trucks are still in the development stage. So we will be stuck in traffic jams even more often in the future. What use is the most beautiful electric car if there is still no progress? And how does the environment cope with that? How must cities change, how must our society change, so that something like sustainable mobility emerges?
Are more bike lanes enough? More charging stations? A better public transport network? What do people in rural regions need to stay mobile? We would like to speak to you, our readers, about all of these questions. As part of “Neustart Deutschland”, our series on the federal election, we invite you to the next stern-Talk.
