This solution was designed for consumers who intend to use the box as a giant trunk, as well as those who want a higher level of protection when transporting items.
“The box of the new Montana will also innovate in terms of dimensions, with a very particular relationship between height, width and length. These measures take into account the volume of items that the current profile of the urban trucking public typically carries on a daily basis, whether for leisure or work,” Chevrolet said in a statement.
And he added that “the future truck will surprise even by the number of exclusive accessories for a better distribution and accommodation of the most varied types of cargo. In addition, the lid of the box has a damping system for its opening”.
“The New Montana will debut an innovative concept of urban truck. In relation to the proportions of the bodywork, for example, it has a better use of the space in the cabin and a much more intelligent and flexible bodywork. In many cases, trucks are occupying the position of family car,” said Gustavo Machado, director of Product Marketing for Chevrolet.
The new Montana will be produced at the GM plant in São Caetano do Sul (SP) and will be the next member of the global family of Chevrolet vehicles, already made up of the current generations of Onix, Onix Plus and Tracker, all of them references in their respective segments.
