The National Road Safety Agency is fighting for the enactment of a law that establishes “zero alcohol” at the wheel at the national level, a norm that this year achieved the approval of the Chamber of Deputies and who is fit to be treated in the senate compound already having commission opinion.

The project was presented by the Executive Power in April 2021 in the Chamber of Deputies.

The communiqué, which bears the signature of the Mothers of Pain Association, Yellow Stars, Red Cuidarte + and other organizations from different parts of the country, maintains that “Alcohol is present in one of every four serious traffic incidents.”
