The suspension, designed by Ford Performance, includes unique elements such as Fox Live 2.5-inch shocks; increased clearance, gauge and suspension travel; and front and rear differential lock.
It features a new high-strength steel-reinforced chassis and off-road skid plates to protect vital pickup parts (crankcase, transmission and fuel tank), plus a front skid plate.

All these novelties in mechanical matters make it a totally different vehicle. The contact maintained on the tour of the sand served to understand that it is a powerful pickup. The 397 horses are felt in the first full throttle. The hoarse sound of the engine is followed by a cloud of sand that covers it and then the thrust of a force that makes it seem like it is taking off. Someone defined it as follows: “it’s not a pickup, it’s a race car.”
And that’s the impression you get. There is no terrain that can stop it. A striking fact is that despite walking to the jumps, no noise from the bodywork is felt in the passenger compartment and the damping means that no impact is felt.
It has a series of technological advances to maximize its yield and performance: Bi Turbo compressor; dual fuel injection system; 24 valve double overhead camshaft; Ti-VCT system with independent variable valve timing for the intake and exhaust system; anti-lag system (Anti-Lag) available in “Low” mode and Auto Start / Stop technology. In addition, it is combined with a 10-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel paddles.
The new traction system offers the possibility to select between 4 modes:
4×2 (2H): Sends power to the rear wheels only and is recommended for street and highway driving.
4×4 high (4H): Provides power to all four wheels for use in winter, off-road conditions such as deep snow, sand or mud.
4×4 low (4L): It provides power to all four wheels for use on low-traction surfaces, but achieves this by applying extra gears for higher torque multiplication. Indicated for off-road applications, such as deep sand, steep slopes or for hauling heavy objects.
4×4 automatic (4A): distributes traction between the front and rear axles depending on the grip conditions of the road.
Its suspension system specifically developed by Ford Performance features new 2.5″ FOX Shox Live shock absorbers, which electronically adjust up to 500 times per second, reacting to the terrain and the user’s driving style, and incorporates an electronic front differential lock and rear, which provides additional traction on rough or rocky terrain.

In turn, it offers seven different driving modes that adapt engine, transmission, traction, suspension, steering and exhaust parameters to overcome any challenge.
Normal: It provides a balanced combination of comfort and handling for everyday driving.
Sports: With improved handling performance and response, the powertrain system maintains lower gears longer, helping the vehicle accelerate faster.
Slippery: Designed for less favorable conditions, where the surface is covered with loose or slippery material; reduces throttle response and optimizes gear changes.
Mud/Ruts: improves the performance of the vehicle to cover muddy or rutted terrain, helping the vehicle’s tires not to lose grip.
Sand: Designed for off-road driving in sand or deep snow, it provides delayed upshifts in all gears to prevent vehicle stalling.
rocks: this mode optimizes response and adjusts transmission shift points to give you additional control of the vehicle.
Short: optimizes throttle control for better response and torque delivery in high-speed off-road driving.
In addition to these driving modes, the new Ford pickup allows you to create a personalized configuration by saving the following settings:
Exhaust mode: quiet, normal, sport or low.
Direction Mode: normal, sport or comfort.
Standby: normal, sporty or off-road.
This is combined with four-wheel drive mode, auto start/stop activation and rear differential lock, and the MyMode Raptor custom setup option, meaning each user can personalize the pickup with the setup that best suits them. your needs or preferences.
Regarding the exterior design, it stands out for the crossbar grille with carved “FORD” letters, which is integrated into the headlights with Matrix LED technology. It features 2 front tow hooks, high-strength aluminum side steps, and a new Raptor decal package. In addition, it has 285/70 R17 AT BF tires with new exclusive 17” alloy wheels.
At the rear, the new tailgate design stands out with the inscription “Ranger” stamped on the sheet. Its completely renovated interior design has a sports steering wheel with built-in magnesium paddles, ambient LED interior lighting and exclusive leather sports seats with the possibility of being heated with electrical adjustment of up to 10 positions for the front seats, designed by the Ford team. Performance embossed “Raptor” logo with “code orange” accent stitching.
The New Ranger Raptor includes a 12” multi-touch screen with SYNC 4 technology, compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, wireless cell phone connectivity, accompanied by the sophisticated B&O Premium audio system with 8 speakers, wireless charger and satellite navigator (GPS). Incorporated.
