Some cars only become known through films, some films only become really good through the right choice of vehicle. This symbiosis has helped many vehicles and films become well known. The first appearance of an Aston Martin in the James Bond film “Goldfinger” in the mid-sixties is unforgettable. Or the huge van that took the A-Team from mission to mission.

Every now and then the cars also play the main role, for example in “Herbie” or “Knight Rider”. Due to their appearance, many of the vehicles are still considered absolute classics today – and are correspondingly expensive at auction. Even the scrapped Lamborghini Countach from “The Wolf of Wall Street” was recently tried to be sold for around 1.5 to 2 million US dollars – while the intact car found a buyer, the wreck remained without a wealthy customer.
The gallery shows an overview of iconic vehicles whose appearances are essential for the respective series or films.
