Korean company Kia has circulated an image of the new minivan, which will be named Carens.
As stated in a press release received by Izvestia on December 7, the model is the heir to the compact minivan of the same name, produced from 1999 to 2019. The car will be offered in the Indian market.
The design of the car is made in accordance with the corporate concept of Kia “Smile of the Tiger”: the car received a massive bumper, wide radiator grille, original LED headlights and narrow running lights. A navigation system with telematics functions will appear in the cabin, having a display with a diagonal of 10.25 inches.
All detailed information about the model will become known during the presentation, which will take place on December 16.
On July 1, Kia announced the start of brand transformation in Russia and the CIS markets. The first step was the announcement of the company’s new name – Kia Russia & CIS (“Kia Russia and CIS”). In addition, the company has a new motto – Movement that inspires. It reflects Kia’s new global goal of inspiring customers with their products, services and experiences from their interactions with the brand.
