Chery’s Russian dealers have started selling the seven-seater Tiggo 8 Pro crossover with a new top-end Ultimate equipment package. This is stated in a press release received by Izvestia on December 10.
The Ultimate car includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic jam assist, front collision warning, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-collision warning. The maximum recommended retail price for Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Ultimate, taking into account the maximum benefits, is 2,319,900 rubles.
The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro crossover is built on the T1X platform. The length of the car is 4722 mm, width – 1860 mm, height – 1746 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2710 mm. The ground clearance is 190 mm.
In Russia, the seven-seater Chery Tiggo 8 Pro crossover is offered with two options for gasoline power units – a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine in combination with a seven-speed robotic gearbox and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with a variator.
On June 29, it became known that Chery is considering the possibility of starting sales of cars with electric power plants in Russia in the next two years.
At the moment, the company is preparing the necessary package of technical documentation for passing the certification of cars, conducting marketing research, and also preparing for testing electric vehicles in the conditions of Russian roads and climate.
