The Chinese company FAW has started selling the new Bestune T77 crossover in Russia. Prices with special offers start at 1,669,000 rubles. This is stated in a press release received by Izvestia on December 14.
The length of the car is 4525 mm, width – 1845 mm, height – 1615 mm, wheelbase – 2700 mm. The model is built on the modular ASUV platform.
In Russia, the Bestune T77 crossover is available with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 160 hp. There will be two types of transmission to choose from – a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch robot. Front-wheel drive. The crossover overcomes the 100 km / h mark in 9.7 seconds, and in the combined cycle it consumes no more than 6.8 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.
The FAW Bestune T77 crossover will be available in Luxury and Prestige trim levels. The basic equipment of the car includes a panoramic roof, cruise control, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, leather interior and a keyless entry system.
Among other things, the FAW Bestune T77 is endowed with a remote luggage compartment opening function and an emergency braking assistant. An anti-lock braking system with a brake force distribution function, as well as front and side airbags, are responsible for protecting the driver and passengers.
On June 29, it became known that Chery is considering the possibility of starting sales of cars with electric power plants in Russia in the next two years.
At the moment, Chery is preparing the necessary package of technical documentation for passing the certification of cars, conducting marketing research, and also preparing for testing electric vehicles in the conditions of Russian roads and climate.
