In Moscow, over 11 months of this year, 397 accidents involving car sharing were registered, in which 21 people died and 487 were injured. This was reported on December 17 by the official Telegram channel of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate.
It is noted that from January to November 2021, employees of the metropolitan traffic police suppressed more than 76 thousand administrative offenses committed by drivers of carsharing cars.At the same time, more than 160 facts of driving such cars by drivers not registered with lessors’ companies, or by fake registration were revealed.
The department said that more often than not, the main violations committed by drivers of carsharing cars were the wrong choice of distance, inconsistency of speed with specific conditions, non-observance of the sequence of travel and violation of the rules for rebuilding.
On September 14, it became known that in Moscow the average cost of a trip by car sharing a car is 321 rubles.
One car sharing car accounts for about six trips a day. The average length of the route is 16 km. The average journey time reaches 37 minutes.
