Experts from the Avtostat analytical agency conducted a study and identified the most profitable crossovers and SUVs to own in Russia.
As stated on December 20 in the agency’s message, in the small segment B the leader in terms of cost of ownership is the Geely Coolray crossover – 1 km of its run costs 9.1 rubles. But in the large E segment, the most profitable to own is the Hyundai Palisade, the result of which is 15.6 rubles / km.
In the premium segment of class C, the Audi Q3 (13 rubles / km) is in the lead, and in the segment D – Land Rover Discovery Sport (13.1 rubles / km).
On December 15, it was reported that from January to November 2021, 718,922 new crossovers and SUVs were sold in Russia, which is 51% of the total sales of passenger cars in the country.
Since 2015, this indicator has grown steadily (from 37% to 51%). According to the agency’s experts, the share of crossovers and SUVs in the Russian market will continue to grow.
