Artist Nikita Chuiko has created a series of renders, suggesting what the updated Lada Niva Legend SUV might look like. The images were published on December 17 on the Quto.ru portal.
The car could get a new bumper with LED round headlights and side mirrors with turn signals from the Lada Vesta model.
At the rear, the updated Lada Niva Legend SUV could have a modified bumper, new lights and a wiper with a short brush. On the trunk lid, a contrasting overlay with the Lada lettering in full width could appear.
Russian automaker AvtoVAZ announced that it will rename the Lada 4×4 model and return it to its original name Niva in January 2021. Now the SUV is called Lada Niva Legend.
For Lada Niva Legend, there are more than 10 versions, including commercial models.
In addition, the “Comfort” package is available for all modifications of the SUV, which includes a central locking with a remote control, an alarm with feedback, an audio system with USB and AUX connectors, which makes it possible to connect mobile devices.
The SUV is equipped with a 1.7-liter gasoline engine with an output of 83 hp. The gearbox is a five-speed mechanics.
On September 21, it was reported that the new generation Lada Niva SUV, production of which will begin in 2024, will cost in Europe from € 12,000 to € 16,000, or 1-1.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
