In Russia, by the end of 2021, the volume of the auto parts market for servicing cars in service will exceed 2 trillion rubles. This forecast was made by the experts of the marketplace for the sale of auto parts Autodoc.ru.
As stated in a message received by Izvestia on December 21, the projected figures are one third higher than the results of 2020, when the auto parts market was estimated at 1.6 trillion rubles. In 2019, it was 1.4 trillion rubles, and in 2014 – 1 trillion rubles. Thus, over the past seven years, the auto parts market has doubled.
It is noted that the growth in sales of auto parts is associated with an increase in prices for parts, as well as with the continuing obsolescence of the Russian vehicle fleet. At the end of this year, the average age of a car in the Russian Federation is expected to be more than 14 years, in 2020 this figure reached 13.6 years, and in 2019 – 13.4 years.
On September 1, the head of the sales department of one of the divisions of the Avilon company, Pavel Chervyakov, said that in the first year after buying a car, the owner will have to spend on average about 300 thousand rubles.
The amount includes tax, gasoline, additional equipment, purchase of winter tires, insurance, etc.
