Russians told about the best car for Santa Claus

Service for buying and selling cars online “SberAuto” conducted a pre-New Year survey among Russian motorists and found out which car the main wizard of the country, Father Frost, could drive.

According to a press release received by Izvestia on December 23, Russians most often named a large SUV, in which he could overcome the deepest snowdrifts, as an ideal car for Santa Claus – 34% of respondents preferred this option. The second most popular (29%) was a large van, which can hold all the gifts. In third place with a large margin is a pickup (10%), in which you can comfortably accommodate all New Year’s reindeer or three horses.

But for intensive work at the end of the year, only high cross-country ability or spaciousness is not enough – 54% of respondents noted that Santa Claus’s car should have soft and comfortable seats, as well as the latest multimedia system with a good navigator (51%) and the most powerful power unit for hood (46%).

In addition, in order to safely and comfortably deliver all the gifts, the Russians would equip the wizard’s vehicle with rear seats that fold down into the floor for a comfortable sleep of the grandfather between deliveries (34%) and a reliable alarm (32%). Many survey participants agreed that Santa Claus would not be able to fulfill all his duties without using additional options, so his car should be able to grow in size for the number of gifts (41% of respondents think so), accelerate to the speed of light (40%) and fly, of course (39%; multiple choice questions were available).

The maximum agreement was reached in the choice of the color of the car: 45% of respondents chose red, while the second closest option, a white car, received only 19% of the votes. But as to where exactly Santa Claus should carry gifts, opinions were divided: 38% of respondents believe that in the trunk, 21% – that gifts should fly behind the car, and 20% assume that there will be enough space in the cabin.

The main question, on which the respondents could not agree, is the country of car production. 53% of respondents spoke in favor of a foreign brand car, justifying this by the fact that Santa Claus should have a wide choice, and 47% – that the car must be made in Russia.

On August 13, it was reported that the experts of the service for buying and selling cars online “SberAuto” conducted a study and found out what kind of car signs Russian motorists believe in.

Thus, the overwhelming majority of respondents not only know about the existence of automobile signs (86%), but also believe in them, – 59% of respondents answered this way. The most popular superstition among motorists has become the relationship between washing a vehicle and the likelihood of rain. It is familiar to 58% of respondents, while 36% of them believe that the omen really works.
