Since the beginning of the year, employees of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate have drawn up about 340 thousand administrative materials regarding drivers who systematically do not pay fines. On December 23, the official Telegram channel of the Moscow State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reports.
“Checking for the presence of unpaid fines from the driver is carried out not only when a road user stops by a traffic police officer, but also when performing registration and examination actions,” the message says.
It is noted that failure to pay an administrative fine on time entails the imposition of a double amount of the unpaid administrative fine, but not less than 1,000 rubles, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, or compulsory work for up to 50 hours.
On December 3, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate recalled that for driving while intoxicated, the driver may be deprived of his license for a period of 1.5 to 2 years. In addition, you will have to pay a fine of 30 thousand rubles. For repeated violation, criminal liability is provided, up to imprisonment for up to two years.
