Automotive company Acura plans to release the ADX crossover in 2024, which will be the first electric vehicle in the history of the brand. Motor1 reports about it on December 28.
According to the publication, the model will be built on the General Motors Ultium platform, which also underlies the GMC Hummer EV pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq crossover. It is expected that on one battery charge Acura ADX will be able to travel at least 640 km.
In addition, the Acura ADX will receive the Sensing safety complex, which includes an emergency braking system, a front collision warning function, as well as adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist.
By 2030, Acura is expected to completely phase out combustion vehicles and switch to electric models.
On November 12, it was reported that Acura had unveiled a prototype of the revived Integra.
The model features a pentagonal radiator grille, optics with family-style navigation lights, wide bumpers and black 19-inch wheels. The interior of the prototype has not been declassified.
