The Government eliminates the limits on the financing amounts of four items that are part of the consumption program “Simple Fee”in order to give impetus to economic reactivation.
Those items are Motorcycles, Glasses and Contact Lenses, Medical Equipment and Cultural Shows and Eventsaccording to Resolution 99/2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, published this Tuesday in the Official Gazette.
Measure will come into effect on June 1 2024 and its objective is to “continue promoting the spontaneous interaction of supply and demand as a way of organizing and reactivating the economy,” according to the official text.
Starting this Saturday, those limits will no longer apply and the financing of these products and services will be completely released.

The Executive Branch guaranteed that the financing rate planned for Cuota Simple “will continue below market levels, boosting sales of locally manufactured products and, therefore, being convenient for suppliers and businesses, as well as for consumers.”
The Program to Promote the Consumption and Production of Goods and Services, known as “Simple Quota”, was originally created in September 2014, under the name “ahora 12”.
The initiative seeks to stimulate demand for goods and services through term financing.
