Tesla will offer a remote software update for approximately 1.85 million Model S, Model X and Model 3 vehicles produced from 2021 onwards, and Model Y vehicles produced from 2020 onwards.
The American electric car manufacturer Tesla will have to update potentially faulty software in more than 1.8 million vehicles due to a risk of accidents, according to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

On March 25th, Tesla has begun investigating after customer complaints about unintentional hood openings on some Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in ChinaNHTSA said on its website.


In mid-April, Tesla identified a deformation in the lock switch that could result in the driver not receiving information about the hood opening.
