France is in second place in terms of sales. In 2021, residents of the country purchased 1 million 659 thousand 018 cars (+0.5%).
The third place among the largest European car markets was taken by Great Britain — 1 million 647 thousand 181 cars (+1%). Russia is in fourth place. According to preliminary estimates of the agency “AUTOSTAT”, sales of passenger cars last year amounted to over 1.5 million units (excluding LCV). Italy closes the top five European leaders, whose dealers sold 1 million 456 thousand 212 cars (+5.4%).
On November 12, it was reported that Avito Auto experts analyzed data on cars put up for sale and found out how much popular used models have risen in price over the past 10 months. It is noted that in some large cities of the country, the increase in prices for used cars was much more noticeable.
