One night, Mary drinks with a stranger at a bar named Gorski who, upon returning together, seems to go overboard and she fights back. While trying to escape he follows her, but she finds a harpoon and kills him. She then confesses the crime to her sister, who helps her hide the evidence and the body. Searching the murdered man’s house, they find the $50,000 that the mother had requested, and their suspicions about what happened begin to increase.
The town hides countless similar crimes, so they are investigating what is happening and at the same time trying not to be discovered for the murder.
