Dacia-Lada CEO Denis Le Vot on January 17, in an interview with Autocar, announced the cost of the new Dacia Bigster SUV, which will be introduced in 2023.
Thus, according to the top manager, a car that is larger than the Dacia Duster model is planned to be offered to European buyers for €40,000 (3.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
Dacia Bigster will be 4600 mm long. The crossover will receive a seven-seater saloon, where the driver and passengers will be accommodated according to the “2 + 3 + 2” scheme.
The engine range will include 1.0 and 1.3-liter petrol turbo engines, as well as a 1.5-liter diesel power unit. In addition, the crossover will have a modification with an E-Tech hybrid installation.
On June 22, Dacia introduced the updated second-generation Duster crossover for the European market. In Russia, the model is sold under the Renault brand. It was noted that the car received new headlights with built-in Y-shaped diode daytime running lights, as well as 16- and 17-inch wheels specially designed for the model, which were tested in a wind tunnel.
