In this way, the National Commission for Transport Regulation (CNRT), led by José Arteaga, carried out a total of 50,219 inspections, of which 31,515 were in freight transport, and 18,704 in passenger transport.
On these vehicles, 1,915 infractions were recorded (824 loads and 1,091 passengers), with 391 retentions (351 loads and 40 passengers), while in terms of breathalyzer controls, there were 611 in total, with 2 positives.
Meanwhile, the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV), led by Pablo Martínez Carignano, carried out a total of 1,036 operations, with 59,212 vehicles controlled in person, 2,504 records drawn up and 631 positive blood alcohol levels.
Regarding the operation carried out, Guerrera stated that “We want all Argentine men and women to travel safely this summer season. For this reason, our goal is to accompany and raise awareness so that people can enjoy and return home safely. We do that if we all commit ourselves” .
Thus, the operation deploys, through the CNRT, ANSV, and the Transportation Safety Board (JST), more than 950 agents, 440 cell phones, 195 breathalyzers, 40 radars, 60 alometers, 12 drones, among the main tools of supervision to promote security in the transfer of tourist circuits, with agents that are present in the 77 operational bases that operate throughout the country.
