On February 1, the British company Aston Martin will present a powerful version of the DBX crossover, which will receive the S prefix. Motor1 reports this on January 18.
According to the publication, the car will receive a 12-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a capacity of over 600 hp, as well as some distinctive features in appearance.
The standard car Aston Martin DBX is equipped with a 4.0-liter Mercedes-AMG unit with two turbines. The engine, working together with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, develops 550 hp. The crossover is capable of accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, and its top speed is 291 km/h.
On May 18, it was reported that by the end of 2024, all Lamborghini cars will receive electrified power plants as part of a plan to reduce harmful emissions.
The company is going to invest €1.5 billion in the new program. Part of the funds will be directed to the development of electric and hybrid powertrains, and the rest will be spent on the creation of lightweight materials that will be used in the body structure.
