Elections in the Buenos Aires UCR: Martín Lousteau’s sector asks that the results be declared null

Almost two weeks after the elections to define the new leadership of the UCR, the fight between the two competing camps continues open and with new chapters in courts.

Martín Lousteau’s sector requests the annulment of the elections in the Province

Those who advanced now were the representatives of the Radical Future list, referenced in the national head of the party, Martín Lousteau, who led as a candidate to Pablo Domenichi, and that he does not recognize the results disseminated by the party bodies.

As he had anticipated, Domenichi went to court after the Electoral Board declared former mayor Trenque Laquen Miguel Fernandezreferenced in the senator Maximiliano Abadas president of the Provincial Committee.

In their complaint, the representatives of the Futuro Radical list, Fernando Pérez and Emiliano Bursesemaintain that “the Provincial Electoral Board of the Radical Civic Union of the province of Buenos Aires has made it clear in the resolution of the final scrutiny, that it has modified the electoral results of the districts of Ezeiza, Quilmes and Matanza to favor the minority in execution of a decision of a partisan political nature.”

Particularly, Pérez and Bursese emphasized that the nullity of the results of the contested tables be declared in Tigre, General Pueyrredón, San Martin and Villarino.”

Likewise, they requested that “the provisional result sent by the Electoral Boards of the districts of Quilmes, Ezeiza and Matanza be calculated based on the tally reports provided by the Local Electoral Boards.”

For example, in their presentation they highlighted a case of adulteration in circuit 384 of the San Martin district.

There, they warned that “out of 1,782 voters authorized by the federal justice system with electoral jurisdiction, 529 would have voted, which represents 29.7% of the registry, mwhile the average for the San Martin district has been only 9.24% of the registry, having voted for 2,503 voters, out of 27,070 qualified to vote.”

“In particular for the San Martin district, it should be noted that the scrutiny certificates in our possession demonstrate that there has been a clear adulteration of the result of the vote receiving tables of the circuit in which it is noted that the participation consolidated in the final record, has been greatly increased with respect to the district trend,” secures the complaint.
