Delays in Ezeiza due to strike of Customs workers

The joint strike of AEFIP and SUPARA will be this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, between 10 and 12 each day. The Government dissolves the AFIP and creates the ARCA

The Government announced this Monday the dissolution of the AFIP and the creation in its place of the ARCA, with “a simplified structure”, composed of the DGI and DGA. The measure “will reduce higher authorities by 45% and lower levels by 31%, which represents an elimination of 34% of the current structure, generating a annual savings of 6,400 million pesos”.

The new state entity will be in charge of Florencia Misrahi, who until this Monday held the position of head of the AFIP. Furthermore, Andrew Gerardo Vazquez will be the new head of the DGI, while José Andrés Velis will do the same with the DGA.
