The new spy thriller starring the Oscar winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) and the Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne (What’s Love Got to Do with It) opens in Latin American theaters on April 10, 2025.
What The Amateur: Operation Revenge is about
Charlie Heller (Malek) is a brilliant but deeply introverted CIA codebreaker working from a basement office at the headquarters in Langley, whose life is turned upside down when his wife is murdered in a terrorist attack in London. When his supervisors refuse to take action, he decides to take matters into his own hands by embarking on a dangerous journey across the globe to track down those responsible. His intelligence becomes his most powerful weapon to elude his pursuers and achieve his revenge.
The film also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Michael Stuhlbarg, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson, Adrian Martinez and Danny Sapani.
