Who can access the ANSES unemployment benefit
This benefit is exclusive to those who were employed under a dependency relationship and were unjustifiably dismissed or their employment ended due to circumstances beyond their control, such as the following:
- Conclusion of the employment contract.
- Employer bankruptcy.
- Death, retirement or disability of the employer.
To collect this benefit there is three requirements:
- Permanent workers: have at least 6 months of work with contributions in the last 3 years prior to dismissal or termination of the contract.
- Temporary and seasonal workers: having worked less than 12 months in the last 3 years and more than 90 days in the last year, before the end of the work.
- Construction workers: They must have at least eight months of work with contributions in the two years prior to dismissal or completion of work.
Unemployment benefit amount
There is no fixed amount to charge this amount, but it varies in each case. The beneficiary will receive the 75% of the net amount of the best remuneration monthly, normal and habitual of the worker in the six months prior to the break of the employment contract that placed him in a situation of unemployment. Despite what has been mentioned, this aid has established minimum and maximum amounts.
- Minimum amount: The monthly benefit will never be less than 50% of the current Minimum Living and Mobile Wage, that is, $135,785.6.
- Maximum amount: It cannot exceed 100% of the current Minimum Living and Mobile Wage, which amounts to $271,571.22.
The amount of installments also varies depending on the months worked with contributions. For example, workers over 45 years of age receive the benefit for six additional months.
