The Japanese company Toyota on January 26 will introduce a new generation of full-size frame SUV Sequoia.
According to Drom on January 24, a few days before the premiere, photos of the car without any masking film appeared in the public domain.
So, in one of the images you can see the front of the car: it is unified with the latest generation Tundra pickup truck, which has been produced since 2021.
It is noted that the headlights, hood and front fenders will be the same for the models, but the SUV has its own design of the bumper and grille with a large hexagonal pattern. Also, the new Sequoia will receive LED lights.
The car will be built on the TNGA-F platform, which is also used by the Tundra pickup truck and the Land Cruiser 300 SUV. The car will receive a 3.5-liter gasoline engine with 394 hp. and a ten-speed gearbox.
Also, the SUV will be available with a hybrid setup, which includes the same 3.5-liter engine and electric motor.
On December 20, it was reported that Toyota would suspend vehicle production at five Japanese plants in January due to a shortage of semiconductors. Idle time on the lines of enterprises will last from two days to a week.
