The best-selling new pickup truck on the Russian market in 2021 was the UAZ Pickup model. This was reported on January 24 by the analytical agency Avtostat.
So, in 2021, 3,006 copies of the UAZ Pickup model were sold in Russia, which is 2% less than in 2020. In second place is the Toyota Hilux pickup, with sales of 2,968 units (+15%). Mitsubishi L200 rounded out the top three with a score of 2365 units (+64%).
The top 5 of the Russian pickup segment in 2021 also included two Great Wall models, namely Wingle 7 (964 units) and Poer (390 units). Sales of the remaining new pickups in the country totaled just over 300 vehicles.
On December 24, it was reported that specialists from the Avtostat analytical agency conducted a study and found out which car in Russia is the absolute leader in terms of cost of ownership.
So, in the first place in terms of maintenance cost is Lada Xray. One kilometer of this high hatchback costs 7.5 rubles.
