In this context, the ANSV developed a strategic plan titled “The National Road Safety Agency in 21st century mobility”, whose objective is promote a road safety agenda through a series of action plans that promote a cultural change based on shared responsibility.


The ANSV plan focuses on four strategic axes
- Speed management: to reduce the risks and severity of road accidents.
- Motorcyclist safety: This group is the most affected by road accidents in the country.
- Safe cities: promote local road safety management.
- Public-private coordination: encourage collaboration between the public, private and third sectors to improve road safety.

Furthermore, in the project there was participation of the General Directorate of Administration, the National Directorate of Driver’s Licenses and Traffic Records, the National Directorate of Interjurisdictional Coordination, the National Directorate of Road Observatory and the Directorate of Training and Road Campaigns.
