Attention ARK! Last weeks in the former AFIP to recategorize the monotribute

Every 6 months, the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) must update the categories of monotributistas according to the income generated and the parameters established in the last year to align the scales with accumulated inflation. The deadline to make the recategorization is February 5, 2025.

The procedure is carried out manually by the monotributistas, but ARCA can also do it in case was not recategorized or was done inaccurately. Those who are recategorized ex officio by the former AFIP will receive a notification at the electronic tax address on the first business day of February. The reasons for the ex officio recategorization may be consulted with the tax code from the monotax portal.
