The Gazprombank Autoleasing company conducted a study and published a rating of the increase in the price of new cars in Russia.
As stated in a press release received on January 27 by the editors of Izvestia, the new Mercedes-Benz S-class, Hyundai Elantra and Porsche Cayenne have added in price more than other cars in a year. By December 2021, their real value under sale and purchase agreements, taking into account the installed additional equipment, increased by 117%, 82% and 74%, respectively. The leasing company notes that the average rise in the cost of a new car for the year amounted to 31%.
In addition, the top 10 ranking of changes in the cost of passenger cars in Russia in 2021 included Volkswagen Caravelle (+67%), BMW 6 Series (+54%), Kia Rio X-line (+51%), Audi Q3 (+50%), Kia Soul (+50%), Toyota C-HR (+49%) and Hyundai Tucson (+49%).
On December 24, it was reported that specialists from the Avtostat analytical agency conducted a study and found out which car in Russia is the absolute leader in terms of cost of ownership.
So, in the first place in terms of maintenance cost is Lada Xray. One kilometer of this high hatchback costs 7.5 rubles.
