Holidays: 3 and 4 day weekends in 2025
The 2025 calendar is designed to promote tourism and relaxation, with several long weekends that promise to be perfect for getaways or family reunions. Here we highlight the most important ones:
The first extra long weekend of the year will be in March, thanks to the Carnival holidays. These fall on Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th, offering four ideal days to plan a trip. This tradition is expected by many as the first great respite of the year while in thousands of neighborhoods in the country it is celebrated with great joy, color, music and fun.
In April, Easter week brings another extended break. This year, Thursday, April 17 and Friday, April 18 are added to the weekend, providing another opportunity to disconnect and recharge.
The month of May It is special because it includes a bridge holiday: Friday, May 2 will complement the holiday on Thursday, May 1, International Worker’s Day. A perfect weekend for those looking for an extended break in the middle of autumn.
