Fires in Bariloche: flames spread in Nahuel Huapi Park and there are more than 2,800 hectares destroyed

The Emergency Committee that coordinates the tasks of containing and putting out the flames reported on Tuesday afternoon that the outbreaks in the area of ​​the Colorado Hill and Quetro Lagoon. “The technical and operational team began to evaluate the behavior of the fire from the air and from the ground, verifying that this had increased its activity but it did not move towards populated areas,” they noted.

This Wednesday, due to the presence of smoke in suspension, the tasks could not be carried out by aerial means to stop the spread of the flames. In addition, they foresee an increase in wind that could revive extinguished outbreaks and spread existing ones.
