They eliminate load record for electric cars

In a new measure aligned with its state reduction policy and market deregulation, the government of Javier Milei eliminated the National Registry of Cargo Infrastructure of electric vehicles and electric hybrid vehicles (VHE). The decision, formalized through Resolution 22/2025 of the Ministry of Economy, argues that prior regulations generated bureaucratic obstacles that affected the development of the sector.

The registration, created in 2023 under the previous management, aimed to identify and georeferential load points throughout the country, promoting the use of clean energy in transport. However, the current government considers that this regulation only imposed “unnecessary administrative charges”, in line with its strategy to reduce state intervention.

The funny thing is that the registration was enabled during the current management, last October by the then Secretary of Energy, Eduardo Rodríguez Chirillo, who was later thrown out of office.

According to the official text, the Ministry of Energy argues that the elimination of registration will allow a “freer and more efficient market” by eliminating regulations that “hinder economic activity.” The measure will enter into force after publication in the Official Gazette.

The measure is registered in the Public Expenditure Adjustment Plan and reduction of state structures that Milei has been promoting from its assumption. In recent weeks, the government eliminated addresses in ANSES and cut programs in different agencies.

From the Government they ensure that these measures respond to the need to “simplify and expedite” state management, while from the opposition and productive sectors they warn about the risk that the lack of planning derives in a brake on strategic investments.

Regarding the measure, the Minister of Deregulation, Federico Stuzenegger, stressed that the registration prevented the development of the activity instead of promoting it, and took the opportunity to criticize former president Alberto Fernández whom he described as “radioactive.”

In the social network X, he wrote: “The repealed norm is a good example of how regulation tends to kill SMEs and entrepreneurs reverse: you load where you go. Load.

And he continued: “The 817/23 of the radioactive @alferdez (there is no thing, it seems, that it has not contaminated or destroyed) just prevented this. When establishing a cumbersome record and a cluster of obligations, it made any business could, in practice , offer this service In so many other things, regulation destroyed the activity that came to regulate.

“Resolution 22/25 of @MCTettamanti smooth and plain repeals 817/23, so that the electric car charge activity becomes a fully deregulated activity. And with a cheap and extensive network of loaders it will be truly possible for a Client Choose an electric vehicle A Hurrah to the Secretary of Energy @MCTettamanti that literally took 5 seconds to join the idea, and….
