Since the beginning of the introduction of new systems for photo-video recording of speed limits installed on cars of the Moscow Traffic Organization Center (TsODD), 96 decisions on administrative offenses have been issued. This was announced on February 2 by the official Telegram channel of the Moscow State traffic inspectorate.
“With the help of these complexes for 2021, decisions were issued on administrative offenses under Art. 12.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (exceeding the established speed of movement), ”the message says.
Thus, 86 resolutions were issued for exceeding the established speed from 20 to 40 km/h, and another 10 for exceeding the speed limit from 40 to 60 km/h.
The Metropolitan Traffic Management Center launched a new type of photo and video recording to track traffic violations in November 2021. Cameras mounted in a beam with special signals from the TsODD vehicles capture speed violators in the stream.
On November 8, the Russian State traffic inspectorate reminded drivers of the sanctions for driving into the oncoming lane.
According to the agency, administrative responsibility for driving into the oncoming lane is provided for in Part 4 of Art. 12.15 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. According to the document, a fine in the amount of 5 thousand rubles or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of four to six months is provided for the specified violation of traffic rules.
