Russian automaker AvtoVAZ announced on February 2 the launch of a new extended roadside support program, Lada Roadside Assistance Plus.
“The program provides services such as towing a car in case of an accident or a malfunction, starting the engine, changing a wheel, delivering fuel, 24/7 information and legal support, as well as a unique service — finding a towed car with a taxi to the place location of the vehicle, ”the message says.
It is noted that the advantage of the new service is the assignment of services to the license plate of the car, and not to the owner. This means that any drivers who are allowed to drive a particular car can use the program. Also, the service is not tied to a car warranty.
On January 10, it was reported that AvtoVAZ would resume production of Lada cars with the EnjoY Pro multimedia system in January 2022.
AvtoVAZ did not produce Lada cars with EnjoY Pro for about six months. The last such versions were manufactured at the plant in July 2021.
