The Italian company Ferrari is testing the first crossover in the history of the brand, which was called the Purosangue. The car was seen on the roads of Italy.

According to Motor1 on February 7, Purosangue means “purebred” in Italian. The premiere of the novelty, which has been underway since 2018, will take place in mid-2022.

Judging by the photo, the car will receive a large grille, low-profile tires, a spoiler on the tailgate, as well as high ground clearance.

The crossover is based on the Front Mid Engine Architecture platform from the Ferrari Roma model. Little is known about the power plant of the novelty. The Purosangue is expected to be powered by a hybrid system based on a twin-turbocharged V8 engine. In addition, the car will receive a robotic gearbox and air suspension.

On February 2, it was reported that the British company Aston Martin introduced the DBX707 luxury crossover.

Under the hood of the new DBX707 is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an output of 707 hp. The motor works together with a nine-speed robotic gearbox. From 0 to 100 km / h, the car accelerates in 3.1 seconds.
