The Porsche 911 is a frenzied legend- not only in the car or sports car world. A new age began for the 1998 Stuttgart sports car manufacturer with the 996 generation vehicles. They were the first 911 with water cooling.
Developed together with the cheap mid -engine athlete Boxster, the unequal twin couple saved the Zuffenhausen future despite the design discussions. However, the switch from air to water cooling split the fans over many years.
In the meantime, the eternal stages still care about the cooling modalities in the rear. Modern times from every generation have long since become coveted collector’s objects. But which one enthusiastic?
