Products need good names – cars even more. There are only numerous cases where it didn’t work well with branding. Some examples.

Would you drive with a “Kothauf”? Or with a car called “Imiev”? Probably not. It is all the more astonishing that international corporations such as Audi, Mitsubishi, Toyota or Lamborghini are still in names for their cars that are laughed at loudly in the very large language regions of the world.
What is wrong with a car called “X 350 D”?
The range of the misconduct of the marketing department ranges from jokes under the belt line to rash and number combinations. Or would you have thought that a car called “X 350 D” could become an internet joke?
