Analytical agency “AUTOSTAT” on February 16 published a study that talks about which cars in Russia have the best residual value.
The analysis used the price of a new car in 2018, calculated taking into account the weight of the modification in the total sales of the model on the market, and its resale price in 2021. Then residual value indices were calculated and the rating of models by segments was formed.
In particular, in the mass segment B, the best residual value at the end of 2021 was recorded by Kia Rio. Three years after the purchase, the rate of this model is 106.7%. In addition, the top three here included the Renault Sandero hatchback and the Citroen C3 Aircross crossover, whose residual value index was 104.7 and 104.4%, respectively. This means that the owners of such cars today can sell them for more than when they were bought.
On February 14, Avtostat experts conducted a study among Russian motorists and found out which car options are their favorite.
So, according to the study, the most favorite option among car owners is power steering, which was voted for by almost 64% of respondents. In second place are airbags (55.5%). This is followed by an automatic transmission, anti-lock braking system and climate control. These options were supported by 42 to 46% of respondents.
