Over the past year, 28.53 trillion rubles of taxes and fees were collected in Russia, which is 35.8% more than in 2020 (21 trillion). This is stated in a study by the international audit and consulting network FinExpertiza based on data from the Federal Tax Service, the analysis was at the disposal of Izvestia.
Of these, the federal budget received 15.88 trillion rubles, analysts calculated.
The largest fees were provided by the mineral extraction tax (7.24 trillion – to the federal budget, 98 billion – to the budgets of the regions), income tax (4.53 trillion – regions, 1.55 trillion – federal treasury), VAT (5 .79 trillion to the federal budget), personal income tax (4.79 trillion to regional budgets, 90.7 billion to the federal budget), property tax (1.44 trillion to the regions), personal income tax (1 trillion to the federal budget), and also the regional part of excises (950 billion).
At the same time, only five regions account for almost half (47.6%) of all receipts.
Most taxes are collected in Moscow (16.8%) and the Khanty-Mansiysk (14.4%) and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs (6.7%), St. Petersburg (5%) and the Moscow Region (4.8% ). Least of all – in Ingushetia (0.02%), the Jewish Autonomous Region (0.03%), Tyva (0.03%), Kalmykia (0.04%) and the Altai Republic (0.04%).
The main impact on income was the economic recovery after a difficult 2020, as well as the dynamics of the price environment in the markets, explained the growth in tax revenues in the Ministry of Finance. Oil and gas revenues (MET, AIT, export duties) increased significantly due to oil prices due to the peculiarities of their rates, while oil and gas revenues increased against the backdrop of economic growth and domestic demand, profit growth in a number of sectors, the ministry estimated.
