Relaxation is emerging in the trade conflict between China and the USA. The two largest economies want to reduce trade restrictions. The United States has one thing in mind.

US Finance Minister Scott Bessent has been optimistic that China will approve the export of rare earthly magnets in the USA. He was confident that this magnets would now be delivered as agreed, Bessent said in an interview by the broadcaster Fox Business. Before that, this did not happen as quickly as agreed. “So what we see here is a de -escalation under the leadership of President (Donald) Trump,” emphasized Bessent.

Previously, both from China and the United States had become known that the two countries had agreed on the end of certain commercial restrictions. According to Chinese information, the People’s Republic will examine and approve applications for the export of “controlled goods”, which correspond to the provisions. In return, the United States would overturn a number of “restrictive measures” against China.

In an interview with the financial news agency Bloomberg, US trade minister Howard Lutnick confirmed that the deal had been signed with China. According to him, China will deliver rare earths and the United States will end its countermeasures for this.
