The MDI index was prepared by the UIA Studies Center (CEU) from a survey between 600 industrialists. The consultations were diverse, from employment, taxes, exports and production, among other points.

One of the negative numbers were Sales of manufactures of industrial origin (MOI). The 16.4% increase compared to April and 14.7% more compared to the volume that was counted in May 2024 was not enough. In May of this year The amount of MOI sales fell 2%.

Also Internal sales fell strongly. This was stated by 41.3% of respondents. Only 24.9% reported increases. Despite the bad result, the UIA emphasizes that the gap between the two groups was reduced compared to the previous survey.

Exports in fall
