The president of the USA, Donald Trumpsaid Friday that he ends immediately the Commercial conversations with Canada In response to Digital Services Tax about technology companies, which he described as a “Direct and shameless attack against our country”.
“On the basis of this atrocious tax, therefore we are finishing all the discussions of trade with Canada, with immediate effect”the president wrote in a publication in Truth Social.
“We will let Canada know the tariff they will be paying to do business with the United States of America within the next seven days,” he added.
